8-) I rather like the look of this new forum but I have to admit to being confused by all these buttons. Is there an instruction book antwhere?

If you mean all the buttons at the top right of the message - what you see depends on who you are. If you are the owner, you can edit or delete it. If it's someone else's message, all you can do is quote it in a reply, or notify the Moderator that it's an inappropriate message.
Hover the mouse over the buttons and you get a text help [this applies to all buttons].
The FAQ [top right] will have some answers to help you.
The other key navigation aid is the 'breadcrumbs' bar [top left under the banner] which tells you where you are. This is the best way to climb out of a hole.
You will see that I have taken the liberty of moving you topic into a different form, so that we can keep the ICF one for cleanroom matters.
You've posted a message successfully, so that's a start. You can play with other settings, and can't do much harm.
